Zero to Landfill | Employee Factsheet

Zero to landfill is a concept where no waste streams go to landfill. Instead, materials are diverted to other uses, for example: cardboard is recycled at paper mills, glass is re-melted, plastic is made into new packaging, and food waste is composted. Waste which cannot be reused or recycled is recovered via methods such as energy from waste, incineration, plasmosis and gasification.
