Violence in the Workplace Employee Factsheet

The HSE defines workplace violence as: “any incident in which a person is abused, threatened or assaulted in circumstances relating to their work.” Examples can include verbal and physical abuse. We must be clear about which steps to take when we experience or witness workplace violence, as well as how to mitigate the risks.
