New Waste Obligations for All Businesses in England: Your Questions Answered

From 31 March 2025, new waste legislation will begin to come into force requiring all businesses in England to separate recyclable materials in a similar way to how most householders do now. Martyn’s Law | Director’s Briefing

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill was introduced to Parliament on 12 September 2024.

At time of writing, it is currently undergoing Parliamentary scrutiny.

Also known as ‘Martyn’s Law’ in tribute to Martyn Hett who was killed along with 21 others in the 2017 Manchester Arena attack, the new law aims to ensure venues across the UK consider the security of the public and take steps to protect them from harm.
