During an OHSAS18001 audit they were penalised for being unable to answer some of the auditor’s questions in a timely manner – the problem stemmed from their system holding hundreds of legal documents and being overly complex and time consuming to navigate.
PrepWorld knew that they needed to make some changes to continue to be their best across the entire business. They needed to find a way to detail the legislation that they have to be compliant with, in an easy-to-operate way. They came across Barbour EHS, who could help them build their legal register.

First, an online legal library was created – compiling every relevant piece of legislation that PrepWorld needs to adhere to.
Working with PrepWorld, all of the previously unmanageable strands were brought together into one place.

Using Barbour’s new legal registers service has transformed the way PrepWorld are able to conduct that side of the business.
